As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly with site contacts, and document observations and events. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas, verifying authorization and directing individuals according to location-specific requirements.
• Complete reports and logs, including incident reports and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
