Job summary

Allied Universal in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a Security Officer Fire Prevention to protect facilities at a food and beverage location. As an unarmed officer, you will monitor, patrol, maintain a visible presence, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while reporting security concerns.

You will respond to incidents, conduct patrols of production areas, verify entry credentials, log activities, and coordinate with site management and emergency responders.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment policies.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and vehicle traffic activities, reporting unusual conditions, damaged access points, or other security-related issues to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
