Job Description

As a Security Officer Fire Preventionin Golden, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps support a secure workplace.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
