Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Response in Grove City, OH. You will protect clients across financial institutions and other facilities, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering customer service with a calm, professional demeanor.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, complete shift reports, and support a welcoming environment while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
