Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a financial campus in Lone Tree, CO. This part-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, providing customer service to visitors and staff, and responding to security concerns with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
