Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers, tenants, and visitors with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and parking areas; observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
