Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driving Role. You will serve clients across Commercial Real Estate, patrol interiors and exteriors, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license, a background check, and ability to respond calmly to incidents. It offers a regular evening schedule and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
