Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management by following security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property and adjacent areas to deter incidents and identify concerns.
• Monitor access, observe activity, and report suspicious or policy-violating behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner per site procedures and notify emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain logs of patrols and interactions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Incident Reporting in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, including patrol observations, incidents, and interactions with tenants, visitors, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
