Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Tempe, AZ. You will provide professional customer service, perform routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with integrity and teamwork.

Minimum requirements include 1+ years of law enforcement or 3+ years security experience, a high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ law enforcement OR 2+ years security supervisor/manager OR 3+ years security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally and with escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate patrol, incident, and security activity reports.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, financial institution policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1+ years’ law enforcement experience OR 2+ years’ security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years’ security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
