Allied Universal security officer position in Shepherdsville, KY expects an experienced unarmed patrol officer to monitor and protect client sites across Tech/Media/Telecom sectors. You will maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide customer service while following site policies.

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, contractors, and deliveries and following site-specific entry and visitor-management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and shift activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
