Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Experienced Part Time Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY. You will serve and safeguard clients across tech/telecom and more, conducting routine unarmed patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply in state/local jurisdictions.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor and contractor procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
