Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Bowling Green, KY. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering outstanding tenant and visitor service.

The role emphasizes a people-first approach, reliability, and collaboration. Full-time schedule includes Day and Night shifts at a commercial property, with on-site duties and standard reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unauthorized activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Bowling Green, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
