Job summary

Allied Universal in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Security Officer on the Evening Shift to protect clients across tech/telecom environments. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor, patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

You'll work full-time on a fixed evening schedule, earn $21.00 per hour, and join a team guided by teamwork, integrity, and community service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass drug screen; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and access-control issues.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
