Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel per site procedures.
• Monitor front-desk access, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and log visitors.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations.
• Support reception tasks: answer phones, accept deliveries, handle inquiries, report unusual activity.
• Assist with orderly entry procedures for employees, guests, vendors, and drivers.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must have experience operating alarm panels, including knowledge of alarm system protocols, troubleshooting, and response procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.

• CPR Certification (B205)
  Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. This certification should be current and recognized by a reputable organization.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should have a background in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• Loss Prevention (B210)
  Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention, inventory management, and safety protocols.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor front-desk access, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional reception area by answering phones, receiving deliveries, managing incoming inquiries, and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with maintaining orderly entry procedures for employees, guests, vendors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
