Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Entry Screening in Anderson, SC to monitor access points, greet employees and visitors, and enforce site-specific procedures. This full-time role offers night shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check may be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access control documentation per site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and reporting security-related observations and incidents.

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
