Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Plainview, TX to safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, greet residents, and maintain records while delivering reliable service through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to incidents, patrolling common areas, and documenting daily activities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents and site personnel, document daily activities and incidents, and support a welcoming, orderly residential environment.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.48 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
