Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain records, and control access per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security concerns.
• Support compliance with facility access requirements by screening personnel and coordinating visitor, delivery, and contractor access.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and control access in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with facility access requirements by screening authorized personnel and coordinating visitor, delivery, and contractor access as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
