Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Entrance Screening in Carthage, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide customer service at a food and beverage production site.

This role offers flexible scheduling, pays $15.75 per hour with weekly pay, and opportunities to advance through our Shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel as directed, helping to support controlled access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, documenting security-related observations and reporting irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
