Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Administration in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, support visitor and employee screening, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, facility areas, parking areas, and the perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support compliance with food production facility entry requirements, including directing visitors and contractors to applicable check-in procedures and restricted-area protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
