As a Security Officer Driving Role in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a vital utilities location. You will manage entry and visitor access, verify credentials, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and access-control concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
