As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.34 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery access in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access records while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
