Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover authorized credentials, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
