Position is full-time with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, respond to incidents, and help deter security-related issues in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by enforcing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents; notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
• Deter unauthorized access with professional presence and report concerns to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations by maintaining a professional presence, documenting observations, and communicating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
