Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Entry Level - Evenings in Florence, KY to safeguard retail locations and assist customers. You will monitor areas, provide welcoming service, report incidents, and help deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible, friendly presence.

As an unarmed guard at a retail site, you will work evenings with a full-time schedule, earn competitive pay, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to leadership.
• Maintain activity logs and incident reports, communicating professionally with store personnel.

As a Security Officer - Entry Level - Eveningsin Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to shoppers and team members. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, and responding emergency services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
