Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Robards, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. You will report concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity while maintaining a professional, approachable presence.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
