Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Protection in Cincinnati, OH. You will serve clients in Retail/Malls, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers evenings with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, eligibility for training, and opportunities for career growth within a collaborative, people-first team

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a client-facing role.
• Ability to patrol and monitor premises and report observations.
• Experience documenting incidents and writing clear reports.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter security-related incidents.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and applicable law enforcement or emergency personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Protection in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with shoppers and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and applicable law enforcement or emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
