GardaWorld Security is seeking Tactical Security Officers in Madison, WI. This role focuses on patrolling diverse environments such as retail locations and transportation hubs, with emphasis on situational awareness and rapid response.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• First aid certification is an asset.

• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Foot patrols and mobile checks of sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Operate radios and maintain clear lines of communication.
• Lock and unlock buildings as required by the site.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• Respond quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential, as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Madison, WI 53704
• Part-time, Thursday and Friday, 2nd shift 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
• Part-time, Monday and Tuesday, 3rd shift 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.
• Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Full-time, Friday and Saturday, 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 a.m., Sunday and Monday, 2nd shift 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $ 18 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Foot patrols/Mobile patrols sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Radio communication
• Locking and unlocking buildings, depending on site requirements
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checksCollaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
