Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Credential Validation in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while helping to deter incidents through a visible presence and routine security-related duties. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, document arrivals and departures, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
