As a Security Officer Entry Control in Lubbock, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide courteous communication to employees, visitors, and vendors. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting orderly operations. Pay Rate: $13.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control vehicle access to help support orderly operations at the food and beverage distribution location.
• Screen inbound and outbound trucks, drivers, and vendors in accordance with site procedures, documenting arrivals, departures, and access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; promptly report observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
