Allied Universal in DAKOTA CITY, NE is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization to safeguard clients across industries. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests.

You will use computers or tablets to document access, communicate professionally, and deter incidents through a visible presence. The position is full-time with a day schedule and pay rate of $19.72 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting entries, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized individuals per site procedures.
• Observe vehicle traffic, coordinate access for deliveries, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle traffic, coordinate access for deliveries and shipments, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
