Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Schedule is DayTime Wed 04:15 PM - 10:15 PM, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to earn more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location and surrounding areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations to leadership.
• Assist with access control and maintain accurate incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:15 PM - 10:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
