Allied Universal in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support to provide reliable security services at a commercial real estate site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, aiming for up to 40 hours per week, and opportunities to grow into full-time roles.

Pay is $14.00 per hour with a focus on customer service, incident response, and regular patrols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Support in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun07:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and maintenance or security‑related concerns through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
