Allied Universal in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol. You will provide reliable security coverage at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts and grow your security career. This position offers part-time hours and a steady schedule.

Pay rate is $17.97 per hour. Schedule includes Day Time and weekend shifts (Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM; Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM).

Competenze

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and drug screen per policy.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and utility personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to site contacts and responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.97 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and restricted locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
