Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part‑time Security Officer Enhanced in Woodland Park, NJ. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing additional shifts at multiple sites to boost earnings.

The position emphasizes customer service at financial institutions, site access control, incident response, and routine patrols.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required in some states/localities.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures; verify credentials and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following site protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver in Woodland Park, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
