• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor facility access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vendors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns per site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, directing visitors and vendors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
