Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol at Ontario, CA. The role is designed with fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and a program to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

The pay rate is $23.40 per hour, with a path to build up to a full-time schedule if desired. This position offers hands-on security experience, a flexible income, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures and directing guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Ontario, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
