Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Deer Park, TX to provide security services with flexible hours. The role offers fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and regular patrols at a chemical and petrochemical site. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a TSA‑issued TWIC, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as required.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver in Deer Park, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
