Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Honolulu, HI, to provide unarmed security services at a residential property. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential areas and parking to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Welfare Checks in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential property.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
