• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report irregularities per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Lewisville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities or policy concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and shift reports while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
