Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Route Patrol Driver. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, with a base pay of $18.75 per hour.

Responsibilities include customer service, routine patrols of technology and telecom facilities, incident response, and maintaining shift logs. Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and background check; CPR/First Aid are preferred.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities including interior spaces, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor for unusual activity and potential hazards and report observations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Route Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including interior spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards, and report observations according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
