Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed at our Marietta, GA site. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform and a path toward full‑time work.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with Saturday night to Sunday night shifts. Duties include customer service, incident response, patrols, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for the community and programs.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Navigation in Marietta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, program participants, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly and welcoming environment for community services and programs.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
