Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense‑related location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization and visitor credentials, and maintain accurate records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
