Allied Universal in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, designed to provide reliable hours and help you earn more while gaining hands-on security experience.

Responsibilities include greeting tenants and visitors, monitoring access, and coordinating with site management. Minimums: 18+, HS diploma, background check, and drug screen as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security in Shreveport, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk in a professional manner, greet and direct visitors, and maintain visitor sign‑in and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the commercial property, verify visitor credentials as required, and communicate with building management and/or appropriate personnel regarding arrivals and access requests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and/or building communication systems, and report unusual conditions or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
