Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Part-Time Security Officer in Shreveport, LA. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants and staff while performing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response when needed.

This role involves unarmed patrols of office parks, parking areas, and building perimeters; monitoring access points; reporting concerns; and supporting a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office park common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, automotive sales and service areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and security-related policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated client representatives.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
