As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Coordinator in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.90 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 11:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Serve as the front desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate building areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, building communications, and applicable alarm or camera systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, package and delivery records, incident reports, and other required front desk documentation while presenting a professional Allied Universal presence.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
