Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Jeffersonville, IN. This role offers fixed shift hours with additional shifts available through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to boost earnings.

The pay rate is $18.00 per hour with potential for more hours to reach up to 40 hours weekly. The position is designed for individuals seeking part-time employment with income stability and a path toward greater scheduling flexibility within a leading security and facility

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Report observations, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel and complete accurate daily activity and incident reports.

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts": You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
