Allied Universal in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Reporting to provide reliable security services at a fixed site with flexible hours. This role offers a fixed anchor shift, the ability to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour; maximum 40 hours per week possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Reporting in Alpharetta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
