Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Atlanta, GA. This role offers flexible hours with a fixed anchor shift plus the option to pick up additional shifts through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour with part-time schedules including day and evening shifts. Candidates must have a high school diploma and security experience; CPR/First Aid preferred; background checks and drug screening are required.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Logging in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain awareness of activity at the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Hold CPR certification; preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification; preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience; preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
