Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation Specialist in Atlanta, GA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts to increase earnings.

You must have at least two years of security experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR/First Aid are preferred, and a background check will be conducted in accordance with laws. The position pays $20.00 per hour and includes part-time hours with potential to add shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions to appropriate personnel while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions for customers and staff in accordance with site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation Specialist in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
