Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete clear and timely reports, including patrol observations, access-related activity, incidents, and any security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Dispatch in Jessup, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Security Experience (C115)Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage security protocols and respond effectively to security incidents.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges is essential for maintaining security within our facilities.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates should possess experience in customer service roles. This experience should reflect strong communication skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
